Just came to say Hi and got a nice forum set up

Im 18 years old in the england south west (Most of my blood is made of cider as a result)
I love anything Science fictiony except for avatar just so much preachyness and cliches rolled in to one.

Im not one for talking about myself so if want to know more about me just ask

I have decided not to see Avatar and I love cider (it's so much better in Britain than over here -in France cider is like water).

So what kind of computer games do you like? Have you considered giving voice acting a try?

South west england is the home of cider

I am very picky on what kind of games I play but if I cant get in to it and I can still see it as a great game (namely mass Effect cant get in to it for the life of me but I can tell theres a good amount of things to do and the chracters are finely written) but anyways my main game series I always keep an eye on is

Metal Gear Solid (All of the games)
Fallout (1,2,3 and NV- spins offs couldent get in to)
Elder Scrolls (Morrowind and Oblivion with skyrim expected to be added there shortly, never played the past games)
Command and Conquer (all except Command and Conquer 4)
Time Spiltters (1 and 3 were good but 2 I think reached perfection on fun FPS arcade games)

I have been thinking of voice acting but I dont think a south west slighty farmers accent is overly great but maybe i should give it try once invest in a mic.

Oooh, I LOVE Timesplitters! Me and the hubby played it so much that at one point we were in the garden having a ciggie and thought we could hear the robot that starts off looking like a bin Mind you, we had gone through a couple of bottles of Baileys!

that was from the robot factory level

god that level was evil

me and my friends have been playing it for a long time and still do. Virus on nightclub on frantic or just the average match with the freaky chracters while trying to think of a scenrio.

Ah yes I belive that was future perfect

quite a good game but I think the devs had some diffculty trying to already improve perfection, it did have some fun improvements like chracters having a unquie diagloue when selecting them for a death match etc... and a story was nice

but overall just dident feel perfected like 2 was

You should try voice acting. Maybe you will be better than you think. Join us in our chit chat. We like to have fun here.

we will have a small va contest here for fun! you need to try it! if you want to va without worry some lines are up as well ^______^ remember everyone can try! its just like singing--- you do not have to be good at it. but if you love it do it anyway XD

jez's contests are always fun. Voting is done by the members of the forum so even if you don't want to Voice act you help the contest by voting for the person you think is best. The more people who enter and the more people who vote the merrier it is.

if only i enter i will be sad because after a while winning all the time is not fun ^______^

I will of course enter. If only the two of us enter you can win one week and I can win the next.

I am more worried about people voting. It seems it is hard to get people to take time from their busy schedules to listen and then vote. I think a poll would work here. Even if the contestants vote for themselves if even one other person votes we have a winner. Besides I won't vote for myself it is against my principles. We need an angel smiley.
