Something to look forward to, a new web series set in the world of Thedas. The following is a quote from the Dragon Age Wikia.
Quote :
Dragon Age: Redemption, is a web series about an elven assassin, named Tallis, who is hunting down a renegade mage. The success of the mission is of the utmost importance to Tallis, who risks having her freedom taken away if she fails. Realizing that she can't do it all by herself, she enlists allies to help her. The series takes place in Ferelden, the same setting of Dragon Age: Origins. The story takes place at the same time as the events of Dragon Age II. [1]
Although details are scarce, it appears that the 6 episode web series will be released some time this summer. [2] The first look at the series trailer debuted on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday February 16, 2011. The filming of the web series took place in January 2011 over the course of 12 days. Star Felicia Day is quoted as saying "They are going to take this a step above what we have seen on the Web before."[3]
The lead is played by actress Felicia Day who you may have seen on many TV series and may remember for being the voice of Veronica in Fallout: New Vegas.
A badass female elf assassin in a live action web series based on Dragon Age? That sounds pretty cool.

Felicia Day actually wrote this.
I've just watched the three episodes and it's pretty much true to the game. It's low budget and campy but on par with say Xena the Warrior Princess.
The fighting made me smile, it looks just as it does in the game. Shield Bash anyone?
No problem. I haven't had time to watch the last episode yet but it has rekindled my interest in DAO. I'm going to update the mod list by the end of the week.
This is actually the last episode. Looking back on the mini series I have to say it's rather well done for a low budget web series. The story is not bad and if not very subtle the acting works. My only gripe is with some really unecessary camera moves in the tavern brawl sequence (when the camera goes around in circles) as it doesn't serve any purpose and detracts from what's going on.
