I guess your right, I still do not care for the modder who made New vegas Bounties 1 and 2. I feel the same about him as you do about Kasdar. So I guess your right.

WOW!! awesome mods.. but it will take me forever to weed out the male ones. as much as i love the ladies ones i dont use them.

So you only play guys? There are only a few mods that are female only in this list. I'd suggest going through the links and use the stuff you find appealling. Don't use all these mods together though.

i will have to see them all. yes i mostly play men but once and a while i make a female. dont get me wrong ladies are awesome but i play what i like ^___^

I've updated the list and I still have some mods to add so I'll try and bring it up to date next week. One thing is for sure, I won't maintain a mod list for Skyrim as it's simply too much work!

I haven't tried it yet but the lead designer for FNV has released his own hardcore mod. It's not an official update and it requires all DLCs but some of the changes really make sense for a hardcore mod. You can find it here.

I've started trying this mod out: Practice Makes Perfect.

It gets rid of the XP system to introduce a system similar to the Elder Scrolls series, your character's skills level as you use them.

This makes for a completely different gameplay experience and it is a very enjoyable change. So far it's been working flawlessly for me.

This list has convinced me to buy New Vegas on the PC (I already have 100+ hours on PS3), solely for the mods. Thanks a ton, Carabas!

FNV really shines once you've figured out which mods you want to use and found out the perfect balance for you.

I couldn't play unmodded FNV anymore because I need the custom outfits which I can combine and modify as I want in the Geck. If that wasn't enough mods allow to play without the hud if you want to (getting rid of the sneak meter makes sneaking so more fun) and IMO the biggest flaw from a gaming perspective, i.e. the lack of enemies, can be fixed with mods like Increased Wasteland Spawns, A World of Pain and Monster Mod that turn the wasteland into a dangerous and unforgiving place.

Last but not least you have quest mods like New Vegas Bounties that add plenty of quality gaming time.

Yeah, I now have a huge folder of bookmarked mods I'll need to download. A ton of graphics mods and things that just change small aspects of the game, along with quests and new locations, and another folder for weapons and armor.

Well if you have recommendations to make, I'm always glad to hear about interesting mods.
