| Everyone's eyes are either non-existent(you can see the stuff behind the ppl.) or they are black. I'm not using any custom races. So I have no idea what's goin on.

| Are talking about Oblivion? That does happen when you are missing textures or a mod that changes the appearance of the characters and is required by what ever mod you installed. Of course you checked the readme to see what was required. |

| Would you mind posting a picture of it? I remember once bumping into a problem similar to this. |

| Yes, in Oblivion. I can't get screens. I've set bAllowScreenShot=0 to bAllowScreenShot=1 but still can't get it to take a screen. |

| Old Coot, can you post your load order?
I've had this issue before, but seeing your load order will help to pin point what it is that is causing it. |

I think I am blocking Oblivion but don't you need to create a folder for screenshots? If Scythe (Building) does any work on his mods I may install Oblivion on this PC to play/test them and will need help. I want to OMOD them so they are easy to uninstall if needed. |

| As soon as I get my issues sorted, there's a vampire mod I will be getting. The used to sell the sound files, but now they are completely free. |

| Ok, got it all fixed and I don't know how. I can now take screens and the eyes are fine. But I didn't do anything to fix it: - Spoiler:

| You have Shivering Isles installed which takes careof one of the patches. Check to be sure you are using the correct patch. The official atch that is. The last time I installed I did use the latest unofficial patch and it worked fine. SHIVERING ISLES PATCH v1.2.0416 ShiveringIsles_v1.2.0416English.exe (1.1 MB) 04/30/2007 This patch is for all English versions. Official SI patch |

| Yea, that's the one. But I had to uninstall the game. More texture issues. I'm also goin to use TGND body replacer instead. Any ideas on what male body replacer I should use? I like Breeze, but I think the Oblivion release has some issues. |

| OldCoot, installing Oblivion is a game itself. I wish I could help you but you may have to wait for Paul71 to turn up. I really am blocking because I installed it a hundred times. I have two copies. One copy the Oblivion disk doesn't work but the SI one does the cother copy, GOTY, the Oblivion disk works buthe SI one doesn't. |

| Yea, I have the GOTY. I can't seem to get the TGND replacer to work. The newest says there is no textures anymore, That I have to use textures from other replacers. So am screwed now. I like that scarred body look and without the textures...... |

| You have your original download? Did you unzip it to a desktop folder? Don't rush when installing Oblivion. When I was seriously playing Oblivion with roughly 90 to 100 potential mods it would take me a week to install. Install one thing then test then go on to the next.
I know Paul71 is very good at installing Oblivion. If we are very good maybe we can presuade him to give us a brief tutorial. Nothing fancy just the basics. As I understand it the Oblivion AI has to adjust to everything new you add to it. It is like a recalcerant mule you have to get its attention before it will do what you want.

| The last mule that got in my way, went into my belly. Mule meat...Mmmmm good!
Anyways, I can't even get AMB installed correctly now, so, no body replacers for me unless Paul can help. |

| Sorry to hear that. Hopefully he will pass this way soon and help you out.
I don't think the Oblivion mule would taste good too many zombies and other undead. Yuch! |

| Hmmmmm. You do seem to be having problems Old Coot. I can't see any reason why you should be with such a short list of mods in your load order. The problem is that I'm not at all familiar with body mods. I've never used them - never thought that it was worth the hassle just to get a buff body that I'm hardly ever see from first person! And from what I hear it IS a hassle to get body mods to play nice. One thing that you need to do with any kinds of texture replacement (whether it be body, landscape, sky or whatever) is to become familiar with the 'archive invalidation'. Essentially its a trick to 'fool' Oblivion into loading up the correct textures instead of the default. In OBMM it is under Utilities > Archive Invalidation >BSA Redirection. You can set it to run every time you load the game. Probably not strictly necessary, but worth doing, just in case. There's a tutorial, a good clear one at that, at this link http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/archiveinvalidation.htmlHope that helps, but please ask if there are specifics |

| I use that ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated! exe to do the work for me. I use the body replacers for the armor mods I like. I don't care about the body itself, but without the replacers, I can't use the armors. |
