Just wondering if anyone has/is planning to get Borderlands 2?
Rob and I bought the first one and really enjoyed it up to a point but found it got REALLY repetitive when you got into the second area and so we gave up and never got any further.

I'd love to play it further but want to know if it gets better. I'm also thinking about getting the 2nd game but if it's more of the same then I'm not sure I can be bothered!

I'm going to buy it next month, as I've already spent my money for this month. However, I have read a lot about it, and, from my understanding, it is certainly not more of the same. The environments are more varied, as are the guns, and the quests, and, from what I hear, the story is actually a semi-good one.

Cool. Let me know how it goes; I might buy it for Rob for Christmas

Bought Borderlands 2 today, and played it for a few hours. So far, I'm really enjoying it. The characters are a huge step up from the original's, the guns are more varied, and so are the enemies. The only thing I hate is that, so far, I can't find an assault rifle I don't hate
