OK, I just started playing Oblivion and I gotta sat, I love it! Just one problem: the graphics do irritate me. Now I have a pretty decent PC, it can run Oblivion on the highest settings. But I was wondering if you guys new of any mods, or anything to get my graphics to their highest potential. Thanks.
Oh, and sorry that I haven't been on the forum in a while (if you noticed ). I just had my finals, so I wanted to stay as far away from any distractions.

The order is important. The better textures overlay the lower quality ones, where you have two files that replace the same textures. Qarls covers less than the others, which is why it needs to installed last.
That's what I have for the 'world'. I can suggest textures for other things if you like, but that should get you started

Thank you very much for that Paul. I also realized that all I had to do was up the resolution to 1360×768 and that about set the game to a pretty good look. I'll be sure to download those later as they seem too large for me to download on my home network. Thanks very much for the help

Thank you Paul71, I will be reinstalling Oblivion in order to play Scythe (Building) mods and I can use the above to enhance the graphics. Get a new looki. After several thousand hours play a new look will be welcome. I will install the official and unofficial patches first. Then the others in the order you recommend. Then I will install a couple of other mods including Scythe's. He, I think has some textures included so I assume they should overwrite whatever is needed unless they are unique.
PaulM, we don't worry about how much people are on unless we know they are having problems. The we worry about them.

Just sticking this her. Not worth starting a thread for it. I ran across this video on Wormhole. It is of an unfinished mod. I think the modder over extended herself. In the description shes says all the foliage cuts FPS down a lot. The video is beautiful and a pleasure to watch.

I click on play and the screen just has static and the message 'This video does not exist'. ?????AR
