So this is an indie game that came out a few years ago but it's very much one of a kind as it was made in Cameroon and is clearly a labour of love.
I wanted to share this video with you about the making of the game:
I'm always curious about getting a different perspective on gaming development from studios in other parts of the world besides Europe, the US and Japan. Videogames have become a global form of entertainment so it's interesting to see how influential past games have been for developers all around the world.
I thought it was a nice touch to get a glimpse of how the game started with RPG Maker and how it ended up looking the way it does now.
Last but not least, the game was made in French and that's rare enough to be worth mentioning (these days even French developers based in France don't make games in French). There are maybe three games in my Steam library that I will play in French and this is one of them.
