| I've stumbled upon this site. There are many questions and it seems rather thorough although as always some options don't cover everything. What Kind of D&D Character Would You Be?Feel free to tell us about your results. Here is what I got: - Spoiler:
True Neutral Human Wizard (4th Level)
Ability Scores: Strength- 13 Dexterity- 12 Constitution- 10 Intelligence- 15 Wisdom- 15 Charisma- 13
It's funny but NG wasn't so far behind and Half-Orc was really close (!) judging by the detailed results I wasn't that far from being an NG Half Orc Bard!
I was a bit surprised by the true neutral thing but it makes sense in some ways as I've tried to answer the questions without thinking too much about the implications. |

| Fitting. The rage part is so true, and Rogue? Yeah, silver tongue. I'm liking this, it actually fits. - Spoiler:
]Chaotic Evil Human Barbarian/Rogue (2nd/1st Level)
Ability Scores: Strength- 12 Dexterity- 15 Constitution- 14 Intelligence- 17 Wisdom- 15 Charisma- 14
Alignment: Chaotic Evil- A chaotic evil character does whatever his greed, hatred, and lust for destruction drive him to do. He is hot-tempered, vicious, arbitrarily violent, and unpredictable. If he is simply out for whatever he can get, he is ruthless and brutal. If he is committed to the spread of evil and chaos, he is even worse. Thankfully, his plans are haphazard, and any groups he joins or forms are poorly organized. Typically, chaotic evil people can be made to work together only by force, and their leader lasts only as long as he can thwart attempts to topple or assassinate him. Chaotic evil is sometimes called demonic because demons are the epitome of chaotic evil. Chaotic evil is the best alignment you can be because combines self-interest and pure freedom. However, chaotic evil can be a dangerous alignment because it represents the destruction not only of beauty and life but also of the order on which beauty and life depend.
Race: Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.
Primary Class: Barbarians- Barbarians are brave, even reckless, and their warrior skills make them well suited to adventure. Instead of training and discipline, barbarians have a powerful rage that makes them stronger, tougher, and better able to withstand attacks. They only have the energy for a few such displays per day, but it is usually sufficient. Constant exposure to danger has also given barbarians a sort of 'sixth sense,' the preternatural ability to sense danger and dodge attacks, and their running stamina is legendary.
Secondary Class: Rogues- Rogues have little in common with each other. While some - maybe even the majority - are stealthy thieves, many serve as scouts, spies, investigators, diplomats, and simple thugs. Rogues are versatile, adaptable, and skilled at getting what others don't want them to get. While not equal to a fighter in combat, a rogue knows how to hit where it hurts, and a sneak attack can dish out a lot of damage. Rogues also seem to have a sixth sense when it comes to avoiding danger. Experienced rogues develop nearly magical powers and skills as they master the arts of stealth, evasion, and sneak attacks. In addition, while not capable of casting spells on their own, a rogue can sometimes 'fake it' well enough to cast spells from scrolls, activate wands, and use just about any other magic item.

| Looks like we got all ends of the spectrum, here... Cara, I'm just as surprised about your being TN. Somehow, I picture you as the scheming, plotting LE type. Wizard? With your magic and my raging frenzy... anyone who crosses out path, be afraid... be deadly afraid. And Jez is a monk? Aww, damn! |

| I'm surprised at not being multiclass. In real life I'm really diversified as I've got both a scientific and a literary background. But since I'm a rather bookish guy wizard makes sense (although I think my STR score should be higher). - Quote :

I may be a manipulative guy but I usually do it for the good of others (or for my own good). I've tried to be candid about my answers in order to get a valid result. It's interesting because I've never considered myself as a True Neutral kind of guy but the more I think about it and the more it makes sense. I've been striving to achieve balance for years so that is not so farfetched. - Quote :

I tend to play Rogues so I get what you're saying. Then again this test is not about the characters we like to play the most but about the character that we would be in D&D terms. - Quote :

You know what would be great? Playing a party made of "our" characters in a CRPG like BG or even better IWD2 (since it allows for some of the more exotic characters we have here). |

| - Spoiler:
Chaotic Good Human Ranger (4th Level)
Ability Scores: Strength- 11 Dexterity- 13 Constitution- 13 Intelligence- 14 Wisdom- 12 Charisma- 13
Alignment: Chaotic Good- A chaotic good character acts as his conscience directs him with little regard for what others expect of him. He makes his own way, but he's kind and benevolent. He believes in goodness and right but has little use for laws and regulations. He hates it when people try to intimidate others and tell them what to do. He follows his own moral compass, which, although good, may not agree with that of society. Chaotic good is the best alignment you can be because it combines a good heart with a free spirit. However, chaotic good can be a dangerous alignment because it disrupts the order of society and punishes those who do well for themselves.
Not sure I agree but hey-ho |

| Cara, I do like the idea of a BG1/2/IWD run with the BSS party. I think I'll do a BG1 run in my free time once I've completed more content for the TW forum. Me, yourself, Nak, Sil, Jez, that leaves one open spot... Hmm, Saber or Tri-Cactus? With Saber's movie background he IMO qualifies for Bard, and Tri-Cactus is a no-brainer... a worthless do-goody-two-shoes paladin! |

| I may give it a shot with IWD2 some time. I'm waiting for Nakia to take the test, a BSS party without Nakia is not a true BSS party. |

| Tri-Cactus is too much of a worthless do-goody-two-shoes to be a rogue. Bard, perhaps? |

| Bards can't be paladins, they have to be neutral. |

| Let's assume he was a bard, had an alignment switch to good and became a no-good doo-goody two shoes Paladin. Of course he cannot advance as a bard anymore, but that's his "edge". |

| Or forget about him being a pally. Goody two shoes doesn't necessarily mean being a pally. You can have LG fighters without any paladin abilities. |

| I suppose we could make a Cleric. A favored soul that channels some of the biggest amounts of sillyness ever seen. |

| TON, that's the best definition of what a Cleric is supposed to be! You know what would be really cool? To make our own soundsets for the BSS party. That would be awesome. |

| Hmm, intriguine idea, Cara. I'd certainly do my own with pleasure. VA has turned to be much more interesting than I thought in the first place. As for the Tri-Cactus, a Cleric of the Sillyness domain, that fits him alright. |

| Tri should be able to find some clever retort. Hopefully, that is if he gets back. You know what, the idea of playing a BSS party sounds like loads of fun. The only problem would be to take the time to write about it. That's time consuming. |

| This thread bumped out of the dead made me go through it again, and I must say, I still like Brother Cara's idea of voicing our own chars for a BG1/2/IWD1/2 run. I happen to have a 3-day weekend (work wanted be to come in early after working an evening shift, but man, fuck that), so I think I'll give it a go, I believe I have my old MP3 player somewhere, I'll see about digging it up. I'm actually looking forward to doing this. Still a Barbarian/Rogue, BTW. |
