I just have to remember not to get too hyped about this one.
The game is not published by Focus Home Interactive and I do hope they'll get a bigger budget this time.
Here is the pitch for the game:
"King Louis XVI's automata army is terrorising the citizens of Paris. Join the Revolution as Aegis, fight against this reign of terror and try to change the course of history!"
This sounds incredibly weird and unique and knowing what they're capable of I'm sure they can pull it off.
My only concern has to do with the more streamlined mechanics (which is the one thing that turned me off Greedfall).
We need more games set in weird 17th and 18th century settings!
EDIT: here is an interview of the lady in charge (she does know her stuff).

This should be good. I love the setting and the concept of the game.

I really liked the 17th century setting in Greedfall so I'm really looking forward to playing in an alternate reality 18th century France!
I remember reading that Jehanne Rousseau has a History degree from the Sorbonne so it should be fine on that front.

I've been trying hard to keep my expectations in check.
