Smoke cessation audio log

Well, I decided to follow the doc's order on quittin smokin and decided to make an audio log. I will try and keep this updated daily, if'n I remember.

Morning of day 1:

Yes I know it's a bit low, but I don't know how to fix it.

If this can help it's worth a try. I've found out that being sick like a dog makes smoking incredibly difficult (which is the only positive thing with being sick). I haven't had a smoke in two months now.

I stopped smoking myself. Excellent excuse to be an ass to everybody. More seriously, though... getting rid of tobacco is a long and hard journey, but the payoff is worth it.

I agree, but I gave up on it. For now. Yesterday I had a long and hard battle tryin' to keep my pc alive. I gave up on life support at 0235. We had the funereal for it this mornin'.

Now I am without my own until my settlement comes through. Which means no gamin' for me, which is why I have given up on quittin' for now.

Thanx. I think your wish was answered. I was piddlin' around in my storage unit this mornin and found my old Dell XPS 630. It has a faulty DVD drive, but other then that, it's still kickin'.

Anyways, I pulled it out and brought it in and did a major Spring cleaning on it.

Before I had mothballed this system, I had changed out the processor and boosted the RAM.

Anyways, I am back up and runnin'. Now to get my game installed.

Yes I did. It's a wonderful perk if ya ask me. Everyone should acquire it. I picked it up in The Marine Corps.

I didn't get this perk (unfortunately).

I've visited this [Only admins are allowed to see this link] (it's East of Paris near the American military cemetery) dedicated to American soldiers who died in the first World War. Many marines fought and died there and I've been told many go there to visit the monument and pay their respects.

No, I have not been there. I pretty much stay West of the Great Divide.

The world is round but the trip would most certainly be much longer if you stayed West.

I simply mentioned it because I know there are celebrations every year and on this occasion many Marines make the trip.

Wait. What ya mean the world is round? Isn't it flat and if you go East of the Great Divide you will fall off?

Yea, every year there's celebrations world wide. I've been to a few years ago, but my health is bad now so, I can celebrate with them in person when I finally leave this mess.
