I intentionalyy did show the first part of the beheading which tells who and why the beheading.Chirhan is now trying to join the Bards Guild. It may take her a while though. You just don't walk in and say here I am as you did in Oblivion. It isn't easy in Skyrim. This game is a tough as the land it is set in.

I think Bethesda had a lot of fun with this one. A true labor of love.

Indeed. I much prefer the way guilds are represented in this game. Having a guild located in a city makes sense. They'd need to have an HQ somewhere instead of spreading out all over -especially in a rather hostile environment like Skyrim.

I've decided that my characters would only join guilds that fit their backgrounds. I never liked the idea that you could become a member of every guilds. I remember my last Oblivion character became a member of the Mage guild simply by walking in and he didn't even use magic that much. It was a bit pointless.

I didn't intend for Chihran to join the Mages guild but it seems you can't even enter the college to look at it without joining. Don't think she will do much there. The Bards guild is different it fits her background at least a little. Bards are wanders and a bit roguish. I have never played a Bard so it should be interesting. Never saw any point to it in Oblivion or Morrowind.
