New to Voice Acting for Mods or projects? Here is a little practice to get you use to how most modders or developers want their project labeled. Be sure to always carefully read the instructions given you. If you have a question post it in the appropriate thread.
If you do more than one recording of a line please label it as follows:
SergePractice_your Name_a_L1_MP3 or Wav if do it in wav.
Training Sergeant Darian. In this practice you may use any accent you wish. Try to act it out. Normally you will be told what accent is wanted and how the modder wants it acted.
Line 1: SergePractice_Your name_L1_MP3 (or wav)
Attention recruits. Time for a work out Twenty push ups.
Line 2: SergePractice_Your Name_L2_MP3
Bayonets at the ready. Charge the dummies.
Line 3: SergePractice_Your Name_L3_MP3
No! No! you namby pamby excuses for a soldier. Those are enemy.
Line 4: SergePractice_Your Name_L4_MP3
Hit them hard! They want to kill you. Kill them first
Copy the lines to your Word Processor. You can then change 'Your Name' to your name. Copy the line label and when you save you only need to paste it in.
You will need to upload to a file sharing site such as 4Share. There are several available.
