I downloaded a mod from the Curse Client *Steam. Ended up getting rid of the mod for some reason it swiped my crosshair. Maybe Curse swiped the crosshair but I didn't think Curse would affect the game. The mod was the Profile Manager.



Downloading it was very easy. Only time will tell what will happen.

Yeah well I don't like the direction these new modding sites are taking. I don't think money should be brought into the equation as far as mods are concerned. The Nexus may not be perfect but it provides decent services for free as long as you play by their rules which in most cases make sense (zero tolerance on piracy, mod redistribution and extreme content).

I don't care for the Nexus mod manager though and I'd rather not use it (or any manager for that matter). It's not difficult to install a mod and it always helps to see exactly what you're adding to the game.

I have been told that the Skyrim Steam Workshop will be free. By the way I uninstalled the profile manager, gues I'll do it old fashion way. Change name of Saves to character and sart a new Saves when I start a new character.

After installing the profile manager I lost my cross hair and that little pop-up window that tells you what you are getting. Have no idea why that happened. So downloader beware.

I saw a new UI is out. It makes things smaller so I can't use it. One of the things I like about Bethesda is their large fonts. They don't assume everyone has good eye sight and I thank them for that.
