| I have a firwall plus that I am very happy with, AVG. It does aroot scan which is most important to me, even stops other programs from making changing without permission and has gotten rid of a couple of unrequested programs.
I also have Windows Firewall but I have a recollection of hearing or being told I should not have two firewalls on at the same time.
Question: Should I turn Windows Firewall off? |

| No. Don't turn it off. As for AVG, I don't trust it anymore. It likes to lie a lot. Telling you things are bad, when they aren't. Or it will let some nasties in and not tell you. I use Microsoft Security Essentials: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/security_essentials/default.aspx Has never let me down. AVG, Avast, ESET and Kaspersky has let me down in the past. AVG and Avast are free. ESET and Kaspersky are paid. Microsoft Security Essentials is also free and is great. |

| Thanks Oldcoot. Does Microsoft Essential do a root drive scan? After had a computer compeletly distroyed by a root virus that is essential to me.
Anyone else have any comments. Don't bother about Norton or McAfee (?) they are on my shit list. I am willing to pay for the best protection I can get. |

| Hot Dang!!! That's some good lookin' food. Dang Darlin', if that's your cookin' on that table, I wouldn't care if you hair was nappy as a brillo pad.
If'n you can tend to this belly of mine, that's a big plus. My wife is younger then me, I do all the cookin'. Cus she burns water. So, if'n you can cook, I can finally retire.
As for an antivirus program, mine finally failed me last night. So, I can no longer brag about it. All I been doin' is downloadin' mods at the Nexus. So'nuff said. |

| That is my cousin's cooking. Thanksgiving dinner and is she a good cook. My cooking has gotten a little limited since my loss of vision. I do a wicked bread though.
Thanksgiving is old fashioned: Turkey, bread stuffing, brussel sprouts, sweet potatos, white potatoes, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, salad gravy (real home made gravy) dinner rolls. I think that is everything. Enough for care packages for the guest and my cats and still have several days lftovers for us. It really is a day to be thankful for. |

Dang, good bread and cookin' or not, that one thing is a deal breaker for me. I ain't got nothin' against them, My allergies flare up somethin' fierce around them. So I just don't like'em and they don't like me. |
