New Vegas Windows 7 theme

Didn't really know where to post this. Just a theme for Windows 7 that I put together. No need to patch Windows 7 to run it. It was made with Windows 7 itself. If this isn't allowed, I apologize.

Even though I know it isn't harboring any nasties(viruses or malware) always scan every thing you download.

Since it is a download unless it is pornographic, illegal or racist don't know why it wouldn't be allowed.

I don't know if I can use something like this as I use the magnifier lens which is picky about what themes it likes. Thanks for the download thing.

I do have just the wallpapers I used to make that theme if'n ya want them.

FNV wallpapers? Sounds good OldCoot. Concept art? Screenshots? Promotional stuff from the prerelease screens? Or some other art?

You simply have to change the format to .dds (paint.NET is an easy tool for that) and then rename them according to the file structure in the BSA.

For instance data\textures\interface\main\main_background.dds for the main background

or data\textures\interface\loading and then use the following:

The important thing is that the pictures you're using must be in .dds format and they should be 1024x512 pixels. If you name and place them properly they will show up instead of the regular FNV slides.

Still beyond me.

You use a program to make your picture fit the 1024 by 512 ratio (resize if you have to) then you convert it to .dds format (using gimp or paint.net)

and then you rename the picture according to the slide you want to replace and put it in your data folder with the appropriate folder structure.

For the main background picture, you create a data\textures\interface\main folder and put a 1024 by 512 .dds file named main_background in it and you're done.
