Baldur's Gate is back

Yes, as Triactus said, it's not EA. Atari owns the AD&D/Forgotten Realms license (this is why Bioware made DAO instead of another D&D game). The BG Enhanced Editions are being developed by Overhaul Games, which was founded by former Bioware employees.

The latest news is that Baldur's Gate III is supposedly the "long term" goal for Overhaul/Beamdog (presumably, if the re-releases sell). I don't know if it's the original "Black Hound" or some new concept for a sequel.
