You should play it my friend. Fallout (1) is the best game I've ever played and still my favourite!
The Chronic Restarter Syndrome is a very serious condition... As long as you're having fun it's cool but it can be a real hindrance. Fight it with all you've got!

Play some KoA -- excellent cure for the Chronic Restarter disease.
I'll definitively see about giving Fallout a try. After all, wouldn't it be fitting since I have a Fallout texture pack in MC?

Definitely fitting.
I'm sticking to my current character for FNV. He is the coolest character I've made for this game and I probably have at least 60 more hours of gaming to get anywhere near completion of the game (100 hours seems like a fair estimate without doing everything that goes without saying).

Didn't work for me. I'm going back to this game after FNV and this time I will create a character and try and stick to him.

I have Chronic Restarter Syndrome. Didn't catch it from Cara either.
I haven't located the KOA demo. No longer seems to be on Steam. Not sure I am ready to pay 60 USD for any game right now.
Car, Skorp do you think my eyes could handle the orginal Fallout game? I am tempted to get it.

Well Fallout was for free on gog some time ago but it should be pretty cheap anyway. You can probably get Fallout 1 and 2 for a few bucks.
As far as size... There is a widescreen mod but I wouldn't recommend it as the original screen resolution makes it look much bigger on screen. It's pixellated as it was made for old screen resolutions but it looks rather big.
I wanted to post a screenshot but it wouldn't show how it looked in game (because of the difference in resolution).
Try this video (play it fullscreen to get a more accurate idea):
Spoiler:
It's by far my favourite game and I know that you like old games by the time you will be done with it KoAR should be a bit cheaper (although IMO it's definitely a game that is worth the full price tag).

Hmm, perhaps Cara and/or myself could do some videos of our adventures in KoA, to give you a better idea of how the game plays and all that, Nak. I could easily do it, FRAPS plays nice with KoA.

Well I can't make a video right now so you're more than welcome to upload one Skorp.

Right then, let me get to it -- my Warsworn Dolfakkar (SP???!?!?) warrior doing a Warsworn quest.

I did post this link before but I assume you may have forgotten about it (I only remembered now).
Spoiler:
It's the demo/tutorial/intro.

Alright, here it is. First, a heads up:
- I was under the influence, so this is NOT my best work. - I don't give much of a damn about blocking, I just tank. I have alchemy, lots of healing potions and a big weapon. Why should I give a damn about blocking?
That's it.

Thanks, Skorp, looks interesting. Right now I am involved in testing out a couple of mods and working on a couple of VA projects as well as working on a mod of my own. One VA is for Better Cities Upgrade in Oblivion. I may have more lines to do.

This was actually my very first PC, originally a rogue, I was getting slaughtered in close combat, so I had him reset and rebuilt him as a fighter. The sword I use is one I forged myself, it does Fire and Poison damage. High level blacksmithing FTW.
I know I have said it before, but this game is absolutely worth your time, Nak. Way, WAY better than Skyrim in this book.

QFT.
I'm really grateful to you Skorp for telling me about this game. I haven't had much time to play games these last few weeks but I'm looking forward to having a great time playing through KoAR.
I do believe "lol" stands for "Locate Our Lemmings".

I have yet another WoTES game on the way. I actually rediscovered a way to grind levels and powerup early... just get Entangle, cast it on that Red Dragon in that secret passageway to the final caves, and destroy that scaky bastard for 5K experience. Exit, the dragon respawns. Voila.
I am trying all sorts of weird party combinations, I did all Clerics, which actually was fun, since healing was a non-issue and in WoTES, Clerics are "souped up Holy warriors".
I did four mages. DAMN, that was F'N HARD!!! Low AC, poor HP, no armor... okay, all four had the Shield spell and had plenty of magic firepower, but in close combat? Terrible.
I was thinking of doing four Elves. Those guys are a cross between a fighter and a Mage. Sure, they don't get as many spells, but they can wear plate main AND use shields, AND use Swords/Axes/Spears etc...
Four fighters was also ridiculously hard in the beginning. As I leveled up things got smoother, but it was still ballbustingly hard.

Has any one played Sins of a Solar System? The second one is due out in a few days. I know some people who are playing The beta but I can't get a real feel for the game from what they have said or from the videos I have seen.

I just realized Diablo 3 has been released today and I almost bought it. I'm glad I didn't. After looking for information online I've found out that you can't play offline??!!! That's preposterous. Besides it seems that Blizzard can't handle the traffic at least according to reports coming from players who can't log in or lost their saves.
This one is definitely an addition to the "wait and see" list.
I for one find it particularly stupid that players are prevented from playing a single player game offline. Going online for multiplayer is cool don't get me wrong but in order to get to know the game it is probably best to play alone first.
Where is the fun in forcing people to log in? It may prevent some piracy but it's heavy handed to say the least. Especially since the game is supposed to handle single player.
I'm not disappointed as much as I'm surprised. Fortunately I have plenty of games to use up my free time until these issues get cleared up or sorted out (judging from what I have read the servers can't handle downloads of language packs so it's really not worth it if you're stuck with a localized version).
All in all this is pretty hilarious for a company like Blizzard -which is known for online gaming- to screw this up in such an epic way. Especially when we stop to consider that hardcore fans have been waiting ten years for this title to be released.

It's also really buggy (or so I've heard), so it may be worth waiting. It'll probably have a few patches coming out
